Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome to Bradenton Preparatory Academy!

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to our wonderful family of learners! As Head of School at Bradenton Preparatory Academy, it is with great pleasure that I write this letter to welcome you.

Bradenton Preparatory Academy is an American curriculum school that offers a broad range of enriching opportunities to help students learn and grow. Our teachers are enthusiastic and caring professionals who are committed to the best in current practices in education. Our students are members of one of the most diverse international-school communities, with more than 65 nationalities represented on our beautiful campus. We believe that advocating, teaching and respecting a diverse student body fosters peace, justice and global understanding. Visitors and new families to our school immediately sense and comment on our culture of kindness, a signature of our school community that reflects our core values.

Part of our mission is preparing leaders and citizens for our global society. At Bradenton Preparatory Academy, students from around the world contribute to, and benefit from, an outstanding college preparatory program in the English language. The curriculum is aligned with AERO Common Core Plus Standards.  We offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses for students who wish to pursue college-level study while still in high school.

At Bradenton Preparatory Academy, we understand the many benefits of Parental Engagement. We believe in an organic approach, where the bridge between home and school is open and collaborative. This will be further solidified in our parent school-agreement. Through a regular communication system, with written and data reports, SMS, email and a program of consultation evenings, parents receive regular updates on the progress of their child/ren. Parents are invited to join the Bradenton Preparatory Academy Parents Association (BPAPA) – our superb parents association which contributes a great deal to the life of our school. I would also like to invite you to join our many informal coffee mornings with the Senior Leadership Team throughout the year.

Teachers, students and parents all work together to create a dynamic and engaging school community, where learning, growth, challenge and connection are the sources of happiness and meaning. For students who make this commitment, their school experience will be one of the happiest memories of their childhood, and I speak for all the teachers when I say, we shall strive to make each students’ experience an extraordinary one.
